Baseball Recap for Thursday, April 24th

Southlands Christian came tearing into Thursday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Fairmont Prep Huskies. Considering the Eagles have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southlands Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.
