After a string of eight wins, Southlands Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Calvary Chapel Grizzlies by a score of 10-9. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Grizzlies earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Southlands Christian's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 15-6. As for Calvary Chapel, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Southlands Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
