IPoly is continuing the admissions and entrance exam process remotely. Applicants will be sent updated information as it becomes available. Please continue to email or mail in application material and updated report cards. You may contact admissions directly via phone or email with any questions.

The application for the 2022-23 school year is now available. There is an early/regular deadline and lottery deadline. Please click here for admissions information including application timeline, entrance exam process and application links.

IPoly is continuing to accept appications for the 2021-22 school. There are 136 spaces available per grade level. Once spaces are full, students are placed on a waiting list. Students may apply for first or second semester.

    When to Apply
Students apply in 8th grade to enter as freshmen. Students transfering from other high schools should submit high school transcripts for review prior to applying to determine eligibility (spaces are limited).

    Entrance Exam
Beginning late October, remote entrance exams will issued to students that meet minimum entry requirements (see application for details). Incoming freshmen and transfer students are required to pass the entrance exam in order to move forward in the application process.

136 freshman students will be selected to fill the freshman class. After the lottery, applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once spaces are filled, a waiting list will be created.

Application Process for Transfer Students (students already in high school)
IPoly accepts applications from students that are transferring from other high schools year-round on a first come, first served basis. Students are admitted at the beginning of each semester. Acceptance of high school transfer students is contingent on whether IPoly has openings, due to pre-existing waiting lists.

Due to the high volume of applications, patience is greatly appreciated. Applicants will be notified via mail regarding any missing documents. Eligible students with completed applications will be invited to an entrance exam.

    Limited Openings
Space is limited to 136 students per grade level. Once the spaces are filled, remaining student names will then be drawn to create a waiting list. Students placed on the waiting list will be contacted once there is an opening.

The waiting list will be valid through the next school year. Students that are not admitted as freshmen will have an option to reapply for the following year, and maintain their ranking on the waiting list; they will not have to re-test.

IPoly does not charge tuition, however, students must apply and meet eligibility requirements (including a two-year 2.5 academic GPA, acceptable discipline history, and recommendations), and pass an entrance exam. Detailed requirements are explained in the application. Students may live in any city and attend the school.
