Admissions Process and Timeline

  • You may start the 2025-26 application process through the link below. This is for students that want to begin attending in the fall of the 2025-26 school year.

    After completing the intake form, you will be emailed the application and a link to schedule the assessment date.

    When to Apply
    Students must be in 8th grade to apply to enter as freshmen. Students transferring from other high schools may submit high school transcripts for review prior to applying to determine eligibility (spaces are limited). 

    Assessment
    After completing the IPoly Application Intake Form, there will be an email from admissions@ipolyhighschool.org with a link to RSVP for an assessment date. 
     
    Admissions assessments are 8am-1pm at IPoly:
    April 12, 2025 
    May 10, 2025
    (Dates TBD after May 10)

    The assessment will take place at IPoly and will include math, an essay and a project-based group activity.

     

    Admissions Timeline for Incoming Freshmen (Deadlines for students applying for the 2025-26 school year)

     

    Early Admission

    Application deadline for early admission: December 2, 2025

    Early admission assessment: December 7, 2024 (8am-1pm: Math, Essay, Activity)

    Early admissions notifications begin: January 31, 2025

     

    Regular Admission

    Application deadline for regular admission: March 10, 2025

    Regular admission assessment: March 15, 2025 and April 12, 2025 (8am-1pm: Math, Essay, Activity)

    Regular admission notifications begin: April 28, 2025

     

    Late Admission

    Application deadline for late admission: May 5, 2025

    Late admission assessment: May 10, 2025 (8am-1pm: Math, Essay, Activity)

    Late admission notifications begin: June 2, 2025

     

     

    ** A waiting list is created once vacancies are filled; the ranking on the list will be valid through the following school year. 

     

    Application Process for Transfer Students (students already in high school)
    IPoly accepts applications from students that are transferring from other high schools year-round on a first come, first served basis. Students are admitted at the beginning of each semester. Acceptance of high school transfer students is contingent on whether IPoly has openings, due to pre-existing waiting lists.

    Notification
    Due to the high volume of applications, patience is greatly appreciated. Applicants will be notified via mail regarding any missing documents. Eligible students with completed applications will be invited to an entrance exam. 

    Limited Openings
    Space is limited to 136 students per grade level. Students placed on the waiting list will be contacted once there is an opening. 

    The waiting list will be valid through the next school year. Students that are not admitted as freshmen will have an option to reapply for the following year and may be asked to reassess.

    Requirements to Apply
    Students must be enrolled in 8th grade or high school to start the application. IPoly does not charge tuition, however, students must have a two-year 2.5 academic GPA and complete the entire application process. Students may live in any city and attend IPoly; an interdistrict permit is not required. Additional information is available within the application. 

    Completed Applications to start in the 2025-26 should be submitted in person on the student's assessment date.
